A small team, building the marketplace we wished existed.
Plezettes started the way most of our customer stories do — with a search that didn’t end well. A 38L blazer. A 36 inseam. A women’s 12 that actually reached the wrist. Every brand had something, but no one brand had all of it, and nothing was curated for the way tall and big bodies actually shop.
So we’re building it. Plezettes is a curated marketplace — a small team of buyers, fit-testers, and operators vetting brands and resellers that genuinely serve tall and big men and women. Not a department-store dump. Not a redirect to the same three mall labels. One roof, fit-tested brands, two sides of the same fitting room.

Why this category is underserved
Department stores stopped carrying the sizes. Search didn’t fill the gap.
For decades, the big-and-tall aisle was a side room in a department store, stocked with two brands, three cuts, and a fitting room the sales associate didn’t want to walk you to. The category consolidated, then disappeared. Online, the same consolidation happened — three mall labels, a few aggregators, and a lot of pages that looked like inventory but weren’t fit-tested for anyone.
Tall and big shoppers learned to do the work themselves — three tabs open, a tailor’s tape, a phone camera, a prayer. That works for the very patient. It doesn’t work for someone buying a blazer on a Tuesday.
Plezettes exists because the category deserves better curation than a filter dropdown. We do the fit-testing, vet the brands, and put the inventory under one roof so the search ends at the storefront, not three hours later.
